Congratulations to junior Maddy Dessanti, who was named “Player of the Week” in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference! Dessanti has gone 2-0 in both singles and doubles play this year, winning her fifth seed singles match against Yeshiva last week 10-1 and her match against Polytechnic Institute of NYU this Saturday 6-2, 6-0. In doubles play, Dessanti and partner Mary Kim beat their Yeshiva opponents 7-2 and Polytechnic 6-3.

“Maddy is off to a great start this season,” Women's Tennis Head Coach Frank Fanning said. “She has really worked on improving her game in practice and it shows in her results. Her positive attitude really is infectious for the team.”
