Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—In the team's traditional Dig Pink! match, Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball faced off against U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in a non-conference match at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Monday. While unsuccessful on the court, the Gryphons raised over $100 for the Side-Out Foundation with a successful bake sale.
Sarah Lawrence (2-14) was led by rookie
Lenie Siegel (Huntington Woods, Mich./Berkley) with four kills on the day, while sophomore
Clarisse Taboy (Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia/George School) added a quartet of kills as well. Senior
Xina Graham-Vannais (Newtown, Pa./George School) notched seven assists, while classmate
Alexis Chapman (Bend, Ore./Bend) led the defense with five digs. Siegel and Taboy also contributed four digs.
Sarah Lawrence returns to action on Friday when the Gryphons travel to face Pratt Institute. SLC returns home on Saturday to host Farmingdale State and Mount Saint Mary in a Skyline Conference tri-match.
