Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—Sophomore captain Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan) scored a season-high 12 points, as Sarah Lawrence College was defeated by Bard College, 79-48, in a non-conference game at Stevenson Athletic Center on Wednesday.

Gilleran shot 4-for-8 from the field and added four points from the free-throw line to lead Sarah Lawrence (0-3) in scoring, contributing a team-high eight rebounds as well. The Green and White held Bard (2-1) to a seven-point halftime lead before the Raptors pulled away in the second half.

Sophomore Wyatt Rocheleau (San Jose, Calif./Christopher) put SLC on the scoreboard first, but Bard scored the next five points. Gilleran scored his first bucket early in the game, and senior co-captain Josh Niebloom (Livingston, N.J./Golda Och Academy) sank a three-pointer to give SLC a 7-5 lead.

Rookie Andre Garibaldi (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) came off the bench and converted on his first field goal attempt to give the Gryphons a 9-8 edge, but Bard scored the next eight points to go up 16-9.

Sophomore Ege Ozcan (Istanbul, Turkey/Andrews Osborne Acad. (Ohio)) scored five points, including a three-point play to help SLC level the game at 16-16. From there, Bard went ahead for good and tacked on a last-second basket for a 30-23 halftime lead. The Raptors outscored the Gryphons 49-25 in the second half en route to the win.

Ozcan finished with nine points and a pair of rebounds, while fellow sophomore Jeff Jordan II (Smithfield, Va., Smithfield) scored six. Rocheleau tallied five rebounds, including four on defense.

Sarah Lawrence next returns to Campbell Sports Center for the team's home opener. The Gryphons host Pratt Institute in the team's annual homecoming game on Friday at 8 p.m.
