Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Gryphon
Ege Ozcan (Istanbul, Turkey/Andrews Osborne Acad. (Ohio)) scored a game and career high 16 points but Sarah Lawrence College was unable challenge Connecticut College in an 81-45 loss at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Wednesday.
Sarah Lawrence (1-7) held the lead briefly following the opening basket by rookie
Malin Segal (Marblehead, Mass./Concord Academy). Connecticut (5-3) took control of the game by converting 53 percent of its field goals in the game.
Ozcan's game-leading performance was highlighted by 3-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc with an additional five points coming from the free-throw line. Ozcan's three treys matches the team's high this season. The sophomore also tallied a team-high five rebounds.

Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan) added seven points for the Gryphons, while Segal finished with five. Gilleran led the team with two assists, while
Jeff Jordan II (Smithfield, Va., Smithfield) and
Christian Moraros (Brooklyn, N.Y./ELEV|8 Academy) added two steals apiece.
For the Camels, Bo McKinley led with 13 points, followed by Lee Messier with 12. Zuir Pavlin reached double figures with 11 points and reeled in eight rebounds.
The game was the Gryphons' final contest of the calendar year. SLC returns to action on January 3, at Skyline opponent St. Joseph's College Long Island.
