NEW YORK–The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) announced its fall 2013 All-Academic Teams on Wednesday. Among the honorees, Sarah Lawrence College collected 24 accolades, including eight repeat winners.
On the men's side, the Gryphons led all league schools with nine honorees, matching the nine men of Webb Institute. The Sarah Lawrence women garnered 15 team selections, trailing only Yeshiva University's 19.

Aman Banerji (New Delhi, India/The Shri Ram School) highlighted the list as one of only 11 athletes across the league to receive the recognition for the third-straight year.
The recipients also included three Gryphons who also attained All-HVIAC status in their respective sports. Women's cross-country runner
Mary Kauffman (Marblehead, Mass./Marblehead), women's tennis player
Nora Landes (Los Angeles, Calif./Cleveland Humanities Magnet), and women's volleyball player
Jenai Richards (Kailua, Hawai'i/St. Andrew's Priory) collected both all-conference and all-academic titles for the season.
The All-Academic Team recognizes excellence both in the field of play and in the classroom and consists of student-athletes who have reached sophomore academic standing with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or better while participating in a conference-sponsored sport.
