Jeff Jordan II (Smithfield, Va., Smithfield) and
Malin Segal (Marblehead, Mass./Concord Academy), the Gryphons were ousted 67-45 in the teams' second matchup of the season.
Sarah Lawrence (1-8, 0-3 Skyline) held a lead through the first seven minutes before St. Joseph's (6-5, 3-1 Skyline) went on a 17-4 run to take the lead for good. The Gryphons cut the deficit to four points at 22-18 with two minutes to play in the first half.
After trailing by five at halftime, the Green and White narrowed the gap to one point at 29-28, and sophomore
Brendan O'Connell (Andover, Mass./Phillips Academy Andover) converted a three-point play to keep the Gryphons within five points, 41-36, with 11 and a half minutes to go. From there, the Golden Eagles pulled away, scoring seven points in the next 90 seconds.
Jordan's team-high 11 points came with six rebounds from the sophomore transfer. Segal put away SLC's only three-pointer to rack up 10 points.

Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan) fell one point shy of a double-double, recording 10 rebounds and nine points on the day.
The Golden Eagles put three players on the scoreboard for double-figures, led by a team-high 18 points from Sean McCarthy. Darryl Charles led the game with 11 rebounds.
Sarah Lawrence returns home to host SUNY College at Old Westbury on Wednesday. Tip-off at Campbell Sports Center is slated for 7 p.m.
