Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Returning to the team's home court after 11 straight matches on the road, Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball was swept by College of Mount Saint Vincent, 3-0, in Skyline action at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Friday night.

THE FIRST SETThe visitors took early control of the match, and despite an attack error, racked up a 23-1 advantage. Back-to-back attack errors handed the Gryphons two of the last four points of a 25-3 set.
IN THE MIDDLEThe second set started with a pair of points for Sarah Lawrence courtesy of Dolphin attack errors. Later, rookie
Seven Green (Akwesasne/Frank Sinatra Sch. of the Arts) notched SLC's first kill of the match, and back-to-back CMSV attack errors made it three points in a row with SLC trailing, 8-5. First year
CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic) and junior
Monet Thibou (Brooklyn, N.Y./Elisabeth Irwin) also recorded kills in the set, while Green added a second kill late in the 25-10 frame.
ROUNDING THIRDAfter Mount Saint Vincent scored the first five points of the third set, sophomore
Eleni Spentzouris (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) tallied the Gryphons' first service ace of the day. Another kill by Thibou and a pair of service aces by Kelley cut the Sarah Lawrence deficit to 8-7. In the end, a kill by Green was the only other point for the Green and White in a 25-8 set to complete the match.
FOR THE GRYPHONSSetter Kelley had five assists in the match, while Spentzouris kicked in her third assist of the season. On defense, rookie

FOR THE DOLPHINSAshleigh Scozzari led all players with 13 kills, and setter Patsy Sewell had 20 assists. Maria Leineweber finished with eight service aces, and Scozzari led the Dolphin defense with six digs. CMSV out-hit Sarah Lawrence by a margin of 33 kills to six.
UP NEXTThe Gryphons host a Skyline tri-match on Sunday. Sarah Lawrence will face Purchase College at 11 a.m. followed by a neutral-site match between St. Joseph's College Brooklyn and Maritime College. The Gryphons will then take on Maritime in the finale at approximately 3 p.m.
