Box Score YONKERS, N.Y.-In the Gryphons' final game of 2015, Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer took on Skyline opponent Farmingdale State College in a 3-0 defeat at Tibbetts Brook Park on a rainy Wednesday night.

SENIOR NIGHT
Four graduating seniors were recognized at halftime of the game. Captain
Juan Sucre (Caracas, Venezuela/ASFM (Monterrey, Mexico)) concluded his fourth season with the Gryphons, while
Nik Vagenas (Phoenix, Ariz./Arcadia) finished his career after three seasons.
James Berry (New York, N.Y./Kent) played two seasons with the Gryphons after transferring to SLC in his junior year, and
Tahmid Munat (Dhaka, Bangladesh/Notre Dame) finished his career on Wednesday; Munat will depart SLC after this season to complete a 3-2 engineering degree at Columbia University.
FIRST HALF
Though the Gryphons were held to one shot in the first half, the SLC defense nearly held the visitors scoreless in the period. Farmingdale's lone goal came off a corner kick in the 20th minute. Sarah Lawrence tallied only one shot, a strike by rookie
Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) in the waning seconds of the period.
SECOND HALF
Farmingdale increased the lead by capitalizing on a penalty kick in the 57th minute. The Rams added an insurance goal in the 72nd minute on a well-executed 1-2-3 passing series. SLC tallied seven shots in the period, including several strikes that were barely deflected over the crossbar by keeper Jeff Valencia. Gryphons
Finn MacMillan (London, U.K./Bryanston) and
Alix Legrand (Damascus, Pa./Scranton Prep) recorded two shots apiece, while
Varun Kelkar (Nagpur, India/Jenks) nearly hit home with his effort. Munat and Sucre also recorded shots in their final game in Green and White.
RAIN, RAIN AND MORE RAIN
During the two hours of the game, official rainfall at nearby Westchester County Airport totaled 0.27 inch of precipitation.
SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
Berry added seven saves to his total, reaching an SLC-record 213 saves for his career. He also leads the team in career save percentage and saves per game. Berry has played 25 games as goalie, sharing the SLC record for a keeper. Sucre finished his career sixth in the team points list with 10 (3g, 4a). His goals total is seventh on the team list, while his assists total ranks fourth. He has played more minutes than any other player in team history, and has played just one game fewer than Ishaan Pujari '15. Munat finished his career with three goals (seventh all-time) and two assists (10th).
Among players returning next season, Camara's team-leading five goals this season are fourth-most all-time by a Gryphon in a single season. MacMillan moved up to fourth on the all-time points list with 15 (5g, 5a); Kelkar has 10 points (3g, 4a), good for sixth on the list.
Roland Wynter (New York, N.Y./Lower Manhattan Arts Academy), Legrand and
Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) have also earned places among SLC's offensive leaders.
