FLUSHING, N.Y.—Earning the Gryphons' second Skyline win of the season, Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis defeated The Sage Colleges, 8-1, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Saturday night. DOUBLES SWEEP
Sarah Lawrence broke open an early 3-0 lead with a sweep of the three doubles matches. In the No. 1 position, senior Nora Landes (Los Angeles, Calif./Cleveland Humanities Magnet) and sophomore Sofia Reh (Villanova, Pa./Radnor) cruised to an 8-1 victory, their third in the last five matches.

SLC's No. 2 duo of senior Autumn Atkinson (Manasquan, N.J./George School) and junior Juliet Slade (St. Paul, Minn./Central) captured an 8-2 win, bringing their career doubles partnership to 30-5 in the past three seasons.

At No. 3 doubles, seniors Sarah Fiordaliso (Buffalo, N.Y./Sweet Home) and Lane Garber (Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) swept their Gator opponents, 8-0, improving their season record to an identical 8-0 mark, including four shutout wins.
