With the win, SLC moves a step closer to securing its first Skyline tournament berth in the program's second season in the league.

Nora Landes (Los Angeles, Calif./Cleveland Humanities Magnet) and sophomore
Sofia Reh (Villanova, Pa./Radnor) cruised to an 8-1 victory, their third in the last five matches.
SLC's No. 2 duo of senior
Autumn Atkinson (Manasquan, N.J./George School) and junior
Juliet Slade (St. Paul, Minn./Central) captured an 8-2 win, bringing their career doubles partnership to 30-5 in the past three seasons.
At No. 3 doubles, seniors
Sarah Fiordaliso (Buffalo, N.Y./Sweet Home) and
Lane Garber (Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) swept their Gator opponents, 8-0, improving their season record to an identical 8-0 mark, including four shutout wins.
TIEBREAKER MARATHONIn the No. 1 singles match, Landes won the first set, 6-4, but was unable to pull away in the second set. After dueling with Sage opponent Katie Schultz to a 6-6 tie, Shultz picked up the second set in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-2). In the super-tiebreaker, Schultz edged Landes by a 10-7 margin to earn Sage's only team point of the match.
GRYPHONS CLEAN UPAtkinson won the No. 2 match, 6-2, 6-0, recording her fifth win in the last six matches. Reh was triumphant in the No. 3 singles match, earning her first shutout of the season, 6-0, 6-0. At No. 4 singles, Slade notched her first shutout set of the season and gave up only one game of a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Fiordaliso won her fifth singles match of the season, taking the No. 5 match, 6-1, 6-4. Finally, junior
Moni Spancheska (Skopje, Macedonia/NOVA International) rounded out the Gryphon lineup with her fifth win in the No. 6 match, 6-2, 6-0.
GETTING EVENCombined with the Gators' 5-4 win in 2014, Saturday's SLC victory evens the all-time series between the two teams at 1-1.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence seeks to keep its momentum going with a Skyline match at Purchase College on Monday. The Gryphons return home to host St. Joseph's College Brooklyn on Sunday, Oct. 11.
