Men's Basketball Plays Farmingdale State

Box Score FARMINGDALE, N.Y.—On Saturday, Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball traveled to Farmingdale State College for a Skyline game at Walter A. Lynch Sports Center. Though the SLC offense had its fewest turnovers in two seasons, Farmingdale came away with the win, 55-34.

Sarah Lawrence (1-21, 0-16 Skyline) had only nine turnovers in the game, marking the team's lowest total since its first home game as an NCAA program, a victory over Pratt in November 2012.

SLC was held to 14 points in the first half but was only outscored by four points, 24-20, in the second period.

Farmingdale State (8-14, 6-9 Skyline) took control of the game with a +18 rebounding margin and 16 points scored from the foul line. By contrast, the Gryphons converted only 4-of-14 attempts from the charity stripe.

Sophomore Stevan Radosavljevic (Lazarevac, Serbia/Grammar School Lazarevac) asserted his dominance under the basket with a game-high five offensive rebounds. He led the Gryphons with eight points and seven total rebounds on the day.

Rookie Logan Dubek (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol) matched his collegiate best of seven points, while Jeff Jordan II (Smithfield, Va., Smithfield) scored a half dozen points.

FSC's Ronald Winkler had a double-double, leading the game in scoring (17 points) and rebounding (13 rebounds).

The Gryphons' 34 points marked the team's lowest scoring production since a 48-31 loss to Pratt on Feb. 5, 2013.

Sarah Lawrence plays the season's final road conference contest on Tuesday at Yeshiva University before rounding out Skyline play at home on Thursday against The Sage Colleges at 7 p.m.
