Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball took on two-time defending Skyline champion Purchase College in the second of the season's two meetings at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Thursday. The Panthers repeated their previous success, walking away with a 79-51 victory.
Sarah Lawrence (1-18, 0-13 Skyline) posted its fourth-best shooting percentage of the season but was unable to overcome the tough defense of Purchase (6-13, 6-6 Skyline). SLC took an early 10-8 lead and later tied the game at 11-11. Purchase went on a run late in the first half, and the Gryphons cut the gap to six at 37-31 before PC pulled away for good.
Sophomore
Jeff Jordan II (Smithfield, Va., Smithfield) led the Gryphons with eight points in the first half and went on to score a team-high 11 points while dishing out a game-high four assists.

Graham Gilleran (San Francisco, Calif./Archbishop Riordan) scored six second-half points to total eight on the day, matching his season-best with three blocks.

Brendan O'Connell (Andover, Mass./Phillips Academy Andover) scored seven points with a team-high five rebounds, while rookie
Logan Dubek (Tempe, Ariz./Corona del Sol) scored six points in the second period. Rookie
Christian Moraros (Brooklyn, N.Y./ELEV|8 Academy) matched the five-rebound effort, contributing five points on offense.
For the Panthers, Troy Singleton scored a game-high 20 points, followed by Justin Person with 12 and Creig Graves with 10 points. Nicholas Jackson recorded a game-high six rebounds.
Sarah Lawrence travels to Maritime College on Saturday before returning home to face Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday.
