Box Score 2 BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball continued its historic run by improving to 7-0 at home this season after sweeping College of Staten Island and SUNY College at Old Westbury, 3-0, in a pair of non-conference matches at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Saturday.

AGAINST STATEN ISLAND
The Gryphons trailed the Dolphins, 12-9, in the opening set, but a 9-2 run put the home team back on top. Rookie
Cat Ramey (Nashville, Tenn./Franklin Road Academy) served out the set, tallying three service aces to score seven straight points for a 25-16 win. Sarah Lawrence held a narrow 10-8 advantage in the second set before holding the Dolphins to just four more points in a 25-12 frame. The Gryphons had no trouble in the third set, jumping out to a 15-4 lead before clinching the sweep, 25-10.
Reigning Skyline Rookie of the Week
Francesca Kohani (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) led the match with 13 kills, adding 11 digs on defense. Ramey was one kill shy of her second-straight triple-double, recording nine kills, 12 service aces and 10 digs. Setter
CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic) had 26 assists in the match, while Kelly and senior
Monet Thibou (Brooklyn, N.Y./Elisabeth Irwin) shared a block in the match.
AGAINST OLD WESTBURY
In a non-conference showdown between the rivals, Sarah Lawrence trailed late in the opening set, 20-17. The Gryphons rallied behind five kills from four different hitters, and stole the win, 25-22. Sarah Lawrence scored five straight points to break a 17-17 tie and escaped with the second set, 25-21. In the third and final set, Sarah Lawrence had no trouble building an insurmountable 21-7 domination en route to closing out the 3-0 sweep. The win improved SLC to 7-0 at home, the team's best home start and most home victories since 2012.
Ramey led the offense with 10 kills and helped the defense with seven digs. Rookie
Kayla Zaffrullah (Port St. Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast) matched her season high with 12 digs, while first year
Lauren Kilroy (King of Prussia, Pa./Country Day Sch. of the Sacred Heart) reached double figures with 11 digs, contributing five kills as well. Kelley had 24 assists and led the match with four service aces.
GRYPHONS PERFORMANCES

Yolanda Lyne Cando (Arlington, Va./H-B Woodlawn) finished the day with 11 kills, while classmate Thibou had four. Rookie
Ellen Vild (Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga Springs) had five kills, and sophomore
Helen Song (Shenzhen, China/Shenzhen Foreign Language) recorded the first three kills of her season.
