BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's swimming team opened its season Saturday with the annual Sarah Lawrence College Sprint Carnival at Campbell Sports Center.

VICTORIOUS LEE
For the second straight season at this meet, Anthony Lee (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) earned the Gryphons' lone victory, winning his race in 22.81. Lee was also the runner-up in the 100 yard freestyle (49.87).

GRYPHONS RELAYS
A quartet comprised of Lee, Jacob Ringo (Riverside, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield), Jack Langland(Ottumwa, Iowa/Ottumwa) and Sebastian Kleppe (San Francisco, Calif./Gateway to College) posted a pair of fourth places finishes in the 100 yard medley relay (1:56.05) and the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:41.92).

TOP GRYPHONS
Ringo placed third in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.79, while Kleppe finished third in the 100 yard backstroke in 1:11.12 and the 200 yard freestyle (2:07.74). Kleppe also posted a top five effort in the 200 yard IM (2:39.36).
