Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y.—The Gryphons won their fourth straight match when Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball swept Purchase College, 3-0, in a Skyline match at PC Gymnasium on Monday.

KEY MOMENTS
Purchase won the first three points of the match, but that would be the largest lead the Panthers would hold all evening. The Gryphons erased the deficit and held a narrow 11-10 edge in the first set before coming alive to run out a 25-12 victory. In the second set, the host Panthers again kept the score close at 14-13. Sarah Lawrence capitalized on three-straight PC attack errors and cruised to a 25-15 win. Determined to close out the sweep, the Green and White sprinted to an 8-0 advantage in the third set and never led by fewer than six points on the way to a 25-11 domination.

TOP GRYPHONS
Sophomore setter CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic) led the offense with eight kills while handing out 14 assists and recording the Gryphons' only block. Senior Clarisse Taboy (Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia/George School) landed five kills, while classmate Monet Thibou (Brooklyn, N.Y./Elisabeth Irwin) had four kills, and rookie Cat Ramey (Nashville, Tenn./Franklin Road Academy) also contributed four kills. Ramey also helped the offense with seven service aces, and first year Lauren Kilroy (King of Prussia, Pa./Country Day Sch. of the Sacred Heart) served up six aces of her own. On defense, senior Marie Richter (Chemnitz, Germany/St. Andrew's School (Fla.)) led the team with a season-high of six digs.

UP NEXT
Sarah Lawrence travels to Maritime College (N.Y.) for a Skyline tri-match on Saturday. The Gryphons then return home to host SUNY College at Old Westbury in a rematch on Sunday, Oct. 9.
