On the final day of athletic events of the Gryphons' 2015-16 academic year, Garibaldi won his singles match in the Gryphons' season-ending loss to Purchase College. The sophomore lost his opening set in the No. 4 singles match but kept fighting, tying the second set at 6-6. Garibaldi went on to win the second-set tiebreaker and clinched victory in super-tiebreaker fashion, 4-6, 7-6 (9-7), (10-5). He led this year's squad with six singles victories, adding four wins in doubles action. After going winless in 2015 against Skyline opponents, the '16 Gryphons rebounded to go 3-4 in the league, one win short of a spot in this seasons Skyline Championship tournament.
