Francesca Kohani (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) had four kills in the opening set, while Ramey served up five aces. The Gryphons closed out the first set 25-16 and carried that momentum into the second. Sarah Lawrence totaled 14 kills in the second set as Ramey contributed six, while sophomore setter
CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic) added five kills. SLC turned a 16-16 tie into a comfortable 25-19 win.
In the third set, the Gryphons' offense struggled with the team committing 12 attack errors against nine kills. The Green and White had a late four-point run to lead 22-20, but the Lightning won five straight points to steal the set, 25-22. Sarah Lawrence recovered fashionably and dominated the fourth set. The Gryphons served up nine aces and had just one attack error against eight kills. In the set, SLC kept Lehman from winning back-to-back points, and Sarah Lawrence clinched victory, 25-9.

Ramey finished the match with her first collegiate triple-double, totaling 11 kills, 10 aces and 10 digs. Kelley led the Gryphons with 12 kills, hitting over 63 percent in the match.
