BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—In the Gryphons' final dual meet of the season, Sarah Lawrence College women's swimming won 10 of 11 races to handily defeat SUNY College of Staten Island, 133-45, in non-conference action at Campbell Sports Center on Saturday. With the victory, the Gryphons match their highest win total in their last six seasons.

VICTORIOUS GRYPHONS
Three Sarah Lawrence swimmers posted a perfect day, touching the wall first in all three of their respective races.
Sophomore
Devon Peal (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) won the first individual race with her triumph in the 1650 yard freestyle (20:41.24). She returned to touch the wall first in the 200 backstroke (2:26.25). Junior
Hannah Lawson (Portland, Ore./Pacific Crest Community School) also had two individual victories, winning the 200 freestyle (2:09.07) as well as the 200 breaststroke (2:32.25). Rookie
Naima Joy Mackrel (Woodstock, N.Y./Kingston) posted a pair of wins in the 50 freestyle (25.98) and 100 freestyle (57.96).
In her final dual meet,
Rachel Barkowitz (Fleming Island, Fla./Dedham (Mass.)) was victorious in the 400 yard individual medley, setting a new personal best of 6:07.55. Senior
Lydia Mullan (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) triumphed in her only individual race, touching the wall first in the 200 butterfly (3:05.59).
Peal, Lawson and Mackrel joined with senior
Gabrielle Risica (Narragansett, R.I./Narragansett) to win the 400 yard medley relay (4:24.69). The Gryphons' final win came in the 400 freestyle relay. Juniors
Elizabeth Kroll (Sacramento, Calif./The Met Sacramento) and
Leah Myrtil (Boston, Mass./Elizabeth Seton Academy) teamed with rookie
Caitie Adler (Pikesville, Md./Wilde Lake) and senior
Jacqueline Quirk (Millburn, N.J./Millburn). The foursome was led with a season-best 100 backstroke by Kroll (1:05.03) en route to a winning time of 4:17.93.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Individually, Quirk placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:48.93) and second with a season-best in the 200 freestyle (2:15.39). Adler had a runner-up swim with her first-ever attempt of the 200 butterfly (3:09.80). Risica placed third in the 50 freestyle (27.71) and 100 freestyle (1:02.66). Rookie
Kaitie Dilan (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) was second in the 500 freestyle (7:07.16), and Barkowitz earned third in the 200 breaststroke (3:01.96).
Kroll had a pair of third-place efforts with her swims in the 200 freestyle (2:22.16) and 200 backstroke (2:33.88). Myrtil earned fourth place in the 50 freestyle (28.85) and 100 freestyle (1:07.78).
Senior
Sky Mihaylo (Albany, Ore./West Albany) finished fourth in the 1650 freestyle (26:07.17), while first-year
Sarah Blanche Klein (Locust, N.J./Ranney School) participated in a third-place medley relay squad.
