Women’s Volleyball Concludes Season With Skyline Tri-Match

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's volleyball team concluded its season Saturday with losses to Mount Saint Mary and St. Joseph's Long Island at Campbell Sports Center.

IN SHORT
Mount Saint Mary (14-17, 6-3) def. Sarah Lawrence (9-15, 4-5), 3-0.
25-15, 25-10, 25-7.

St. Joseph's Long Island (14-13, 8-2) def. Sarah Lawrence (9-16, 4-6), 3-0.
25-9, 25-12, 25-9

AGAINST MOUNT SAINT MARY
In the opening game, the Knights raced out to a 15-3 lead and did not look back, winning 25-15 and taking a 1-0 series edge. In the second game, Mount Saint Mary continued its offensive surge, jumping out to a 15-4 advantage en route to taking a 2-0 series lead. The Knights completed the sweep, using a 15-2 spurt to create separation and win their sixth conference match of the season.

Melanie Coleman (Forest Hills, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) finished with six kills and one service ace, while Lauren Kilroy (King of Prussia, Pa./Country Day Sch. of the Sacred Heart) tallied eight assists and Camryn Sanchez (El Cernito, Calif./Albany HS) posted 12 digs.

AGAINST ST. JOSEPH'S LONG ISLAND
The Golden Eagles raced out to a 16-4 lead in the opening set en route to picking up the 25-9 victory. St. Joseph's picked up where it left off in the second game, winning the set 25-12, and completed the sweep with a 25-9 victory in the third set.
