Lee Wins Two Events in Loss to Mount Saint Mary

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's swim team opened up Skyline action Saturday with a 109-51 loss to Mount Saint Mary at Campbell Sports Center.

LEE VICTORIOUS
For the third straight week, Anthony Lee (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) was victorious in the 50 yard freestyle, touching the wall in 22.66. Lee went on to win the 100 yard freestyle (50.02) for a second consecutive meet.

TOP GRYPHON PERFORMANCES
Jack Langland (Ottumwa, Iowa/Ottumwa) was the runner-up in the 200 yard freestyle, finishing the race in 2:05.98, while Charles Allard (Fall River, Mass./B.M.C. Durfee) finished second in the 200 yard butterfly with a mark of 3:18.83. Allard also scored in the 500 yard freestyle with a third-place effort.

Jacob Ringo (Riverside, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) scored in the 100 yard freestyle, finishing third in 58.44, while Sebastian Kleepe placed third in the 200 yard backstroke (2:30.37).

GRYPHONS RELAYS
Sarah Lawrence was the winner in the 400 yard medley relay, as a quartet of Lee, Langland, Ringo and Kleppe completed the race in 4:15.36.

Sarah Lawrence returns to action Friday, Nov. 17, for a Skyline tri-meet, hosting Maritime and Old Westbury at Campbell Sports Center at 7 p.m.
