PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's basketball team suffered a 80-67 loss Tuesday at St. Joseph's Long Island at Danzi Athletic Center.

It was a tale of two halves, as Sarah Lawrence took a 38-35 advantage into halftime, led by 13 points (4-6 FG, 5-6 FT) from first-year
Enike Anyia (Los Angeles, Calif./Wilbraham & Monson Academy). The Gryphons forced nine turnovers in the opening period, while ending the half on a 6-2 run to take a lead into the locker room for the second time in three games.
In the second half, the Eagles outscored the Gryphons 45-29, holding Sarah Lawrence to 39-percent shooting while forcing 11 turnovers.
Anyia finished with a team-best 17 points, while
Austin Jones (Upper Marlboro, Md./Flint Hill School) reached double-figures for the third time this season, recording 14 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal.
Malin Segal (Wenham, Mass./Concord Academy) finished in double-figures for a third consecutive outing, tallying 11 points along with three assists and a game-high four swipes. First-years
Isaiah Pean (Spring Valley, N.Y./Dwight-Englewood) and
Kaleb Robinson (Las Vegas, Nev./Deerfield Academy (Mass.)) contributed on the defensive end, collecting three steals apiece.
