BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team suffered a 67-49 loss to Yeshiva Thursday at Campbell Sports Center.

RECAP
The two teams traded baskets in the opening minutes of the first quarter, but the Maccabees finished the period on an 8-3 spurt to take a 16-11 lead into the second quarter. Yeshiva expanded its lead, outscoring the Gryphons 17-9 to hold a 33-20 advantage at halftime.
Yeshiva continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring Sarah Lawrence 22-9 in the third quarter en route to the 67-49 victory and its first Skyline victory of the season.
Three players scored in double-figures for the Maccabees, including Nicole Bick, who posted a team-high 19 points.
TOP GRYPHON PERFORMANCES
Taryn Penna (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) was the Gryphons' top offensive option, pouring in a game-high 26 points while recording a team-best nine rebounds.
Ruth Doberenz (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) contributed 11 points in the contest.
