BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss Tuesday to Baruch at Campbell Sports Center.

KEY MOMENTS
The Bearcats jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the opening set and didn't look back en route to taking a 1-0 series lead. In the second game, the two teams exchanged points, tying the set 14-14. Baruch pulled away with a 5-1 spurt to take the lead for good and win the game. Facing a sweep, Sarah Lawrence nearly forced a fourth set, holding a 24-18 advantage in the third game. The Bearcats rallied back with eight straight points to win the final set.
Lucy DeCarlo (New York, N.Y./The Calhoun School) paced the Gryphons with six kills, while
Francesca LaRocca (Annapolis, Md./South River) and
Melanie Coleman (Forest Hills, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy), the Skyline Rookie of the Week, finished with five kills apiece.
Francesca Kohani (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) posted a game-high 19 digs and three service aces, while
Lauren Kilroy (King of Prussia, Pa./Country Day Sch. of the Sacred Heart) recorded 15 assists.
