Women’s Volleyball Suffers First Conference Loss at Farmingdale State

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's volleyball team suffered its first loss in Skyline play Thursday at Farmingdale State.

KEY MOMENTS
The defending Skyline champions raced out to a 7-1 lead in the opening set en route to taking a 1-0 series edge. The Rams continued their offensive surge in the second game, jumping out to a 5-1 advantage before pulling away with a 10-2 run to end the set. Farmingdale State completed the sweep, picking up its first home victory of the season.

Six different Gryphons recorded a kill, including Lucy DeCarlo (New York, N.Y./The Calhoun School), who paced Sarah Lawrence with four. Lauren Kilroy (King of Prussia, Pa./Country Day Sch. of the Sacred Heart) recorded eight assists, while Camryn Sanchez (El Cernito, Calif./Albany HS) finished with 11 digs.
