BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's basketball team dropped a 79-44 decision to Merchant Marine Monday evening at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center.

TOP GRYPHON PERFORMANCES
Three Gryphons reached double-figures in the contest. Alexa Zartman-Ball (Washington, D.C./The Madeira School) finished with 10 points, a new career-high, along with a team-best eight rebounds.

Taryn Penna (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) scored 10 points, her seventh double-figure outing this season. The junior captain also contributed eight assists, a season-high, along with seven rebounds.

Tess Carrier (Los Angeles, Calif./Palos Verdes) turned in her third double-digit scoring performance of the season, recording 10 points to go along with three rebounds and two steals.

Kaylin Yamada (Los Angeles, Calif./St. Paul) posted eight points, three rebounds and two assists, while Ruth Doberenz (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) tallied six points, two rebounds and one swipe.
