YONKERS, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss on Tuesday to Mount Saint Mary at Fleming Field.

Mount Saint Mary scored each of its two goals in the opening half of play. The Knights scored their first goal of the match in the 21st minute, when Bobby Caronia finished to the near post following a cross from Fred Stark. Connor Lynch scored in the 33rd minute, flicking in a header off a corner from Matthew Wyant.
The Sarah Lawrence defense responded in the second half, holding the Knights scoreless despite facing 10 shot attempts.
Matteo Romano got the start in goal, making eight saves, including a pair of tough stops in the second period.
The Gryphons took four shots in the match, including two attempts on frame. Perhaps the most dangerous attempt for Sarah Lawrence came off a header from
Colin Berg in the 78th minute.
