NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team wrapped up its non-conference slate on Saturday with a 2-0 loss to Hunter at Randall's Island.

RECAP
Sarah Lawrence played strong defense in the opening frame, turning away six shot attempts from the Hawks, who entered the day 1-2 against Skyline opponents.
Aaron Ashery got the start in goal, making two tough saves in the first half to keep the game scoreless at intermission.
Hunter broke through offensively in the second half, as Jonah Sampedro gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead in the 55th minute, following a pair of passes from Blaise Enama and Michael Merlo. Hunter scored again in the 73rd minute, as Joe Alonzo found the back of the net off a feed from Nikola Ristovic.
The Gryphons took eight shots in the match, including a trio of attempts from
Colin Berg. Sarah Lawrence put three shots on target, including attempts from
Mohamed Camara,
Pacqui Pascual and
Carlos Rivadeneyra.
