Men’s Swimming Posts Road Win at Old Westbury

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's swimming team won its first Skyline dual meet of the season on Tuesday, winning seven individual events and one relay to defeat Old Westbury, 104-78, at Clark Athletic Center.

GRYPHONS VICTORIES
Chaz Stafford posted a victory in the 1,000 free, finishing the race in 10:15.95, breaking his own school record. The two-time Skyline Rookie of the Week honoree also won the 500 free, touching the wall in 5:00.52.

Jacob Ringo was victorious in the 200 free, winning in 2:08.97, nearly 27 seconds faster than the second-place swimmer. He was also the runner-up in the 100 free with a mark of 58.27.

Anthony Lee was the top performer in the 50 free, winning in 22.57. The senior also won the 100 fly in 57.00 Sarah Lawrence claimed the top two spots in the race, as Miles Washington finished in second-place.

Mani Roshandel was victorious in the 200 IM with a time of 2:12.12, seven seconds faster than the next swimmer. The first year also won the 100 breast in 1:05.22.

Sarah Lawrence was the top team in the 200 medley relay, as a squad made of Stafford, Roshandel, Washington and Lee touched the wall in 1:46.23.
