Men's Swimming Wins at SUNY Cobleskill, 139-48

COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's swimming team swam to a 139-48 victory Saturday in its first road dual meet of the season at SUNY Cobleskill at Bouck Natatorium.

GRYPHONS VICTORIES
Chaz Stafford continues to be a strong performer for the Gryphons in his rookie campaign, breaking two more school records. The first year won the 1,000 free in 10:24.92, breaking his own school record of 10:25.26 set in the season opener. He also won the 500 free in the 4:58.54, beating the previous mark of 5:01.29 posted by Cameron Martinez in 2015. 

Anthony Lee won two events in the team's second dual victory of the season. The senior was the top performer in the 200 free (1:57.89) and 100 free (52.70). 

Mani Roshandel had a solid outing Saturday, winning two individual races. He won the 50 breast in 29.88 and the 100 breast in 1:04.14.

Miles Washington was victorious in the 50 free with a time of 23.33 and the 50 fly in 25.92.

GRYPHONS RELAYS
Sarah Lawrence won each of its relay events. In the 200 medley relay, a team of Stafford, Roshandel, Washington and Lee won in 1:47.10, while a squad of Mario Jerez, Harris Silcott, Shaurya Chawla and Jacob Ringo won the 200 free relay in 1:55.86.
