CLINTON, N.Y. - Sarah Lawrence first year Drew Lei-Alerta broke two school records over the weekend, leading the Gryphons women's swimming team at the two-day Hamilton Invitational at Bristol Pool.

TOP INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES
Lei-Alerta broke the school record in the 400 IM. The rookie finished fourth with a time of 4:52.17, shattering the previous standard of 5:02.25 recorded by teammate Devon Peal in 2016.
The two-time Skyline Rookie of the Week honoree also broke her own school record in the 200 fly. She finished third in the race with a time of 2:13.48, beating her previous best of 2:17.88. Lei-Alerta also turned in a season-best performance in the 200 IM (2:16.08).
Overall, the rookie scored 80 points, the third-highest total among women point scorers.
Caitie Adler set a new personal record in the 200 breast, finishing eighth with a time of 2:42.63. The junior also had her best races of the year in the 100 fly (1:11.46) and 200 IM (2:36.13).
Eimile Briggs turned in personal bests in three events at the meet, including the 100 back (1:11.36), 50 free (27.35) and 100 free (1:00.99).
Andrea Corbin set a personal record in the 400 IM, posting a time of 5:35.38. She also posted season-best efforts in the 200 IM (2:31.31) and 100 breast (1:17.32).
Audrey de Szendeffy recorded a time of 5:49.58 in the 500 free, a new personal record. She also had a season-best effort in the 100 breast (1:18.78).
Abigail Falato posted personal best times in the 1,650 free (23:51.30) and 1,000 free (14:26.60).
Peal had her best meet of the season, turning in season-best performances in the 100 back (1:02.69), 200 back (2:14.08) and 200 free (2:08.23).
GRYPHON RELAYS
Sarah Lawrence scored in the 200 medley relay, finishing fifth with a time of 1:58.09. In the 200 free relay, a team of Briggs, Peal, de Szendeffy and Lei-Alerta finished seventh in 1:48.62.
In the 400 medley relay, a quartet of Peal, Corbin, Lei-Alerta and Briggs finished seventh in 4:20.93, while in the 400 free relay, the team finished seventh in 3:59.03.
