RECAP
The Rams, the defending Skyline champions, raced out to a 16-5 advantage, scoring 10 of the 16 inside the paint. Sarah Lawrence chipped away at the margin, using an 18-8 spurt, thanks to six points from Enike Anyia (Los Angeles, Calif./Wilbraham & Monson Academy) and five from Malin Segal (Wenham, Mass./Concord Academy), shrinking the deficit to one (24-23). The Gryphons did not go away, cutting the deficit to four to end the half (40-36), capped off by a steal and layup from Austin Jones (Upper Marlboro, Md./Flint Hill School) to end the period.

Segal single-handedly gave the Gryphons the lead in the second half, scoring and assisting on every point of a 10-6 spurt (48-46), while collecting a pair of steals. Farmingdale State countered, using a 14-2 run to open up a 60-50 lead.
