RECAP
Yeshiva opened the evening with a 13-9 lead, but a 13-0 run, thanks to four points and two assists from Austin Jones (Upper Marlboro, Md./Flint Hill School), gave the Gryphons a 22-13 advantage. The Maccabees countered with a 13-3 spurt, taking a 26-25 lead with 1:15 left in the half. Sarah Lawrence possessed a 27-26 edge at intermission, thanks to a jumper from Isaiah Pean (Spring Valley, N.Y./Dwight-Englewood) in the final minute.

The Maccabees used strong three-point shooting to open up the second half, connecting on four three-point field goals as part of a 20-9 stretch to take a 46-36 lead. Sarah Lawrence cut the margin to single-digits on several occasions throughout the period, but Yeshiva continued to ride its hot hand from beyond the arc to victory. After shooting just 30-percent from three-point range in the first half, the Maccabees rallied to hit 7-of-15 from downtown in the second frame.

Two players reached double-figures for Yeshiva, including Bar Alluf, who posted a game-high 20 points.
