BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – For the second time this season, Sarah Lawrence College first-year Enike Anyia (Los Angeles, Calif./Wilbraham & Monson Academy) has been named Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday.

Anyia, who earned Skyline rookie honors for the week of Dec. 4, averaged 14.3 points and 11.3 rebounds in three Skyline contests against Old Westbury, Farmingdale State and Yeshiva. The rookie shot 67-percent from the field while notching 34 rebounds, including 10 offensive boards, posting a double-double in each game.

The first-year has been impressive in his short time at Sarah Lawrence, reaching double-figures in 14 of 22 games this season, including three 20-point outings, while turning in six double-double performances.

This season, Anyia is the team leader in points per game (12.9), field goal percentage (.527), rebounds (165) and blocks (8).

Sarah Lawrence returns to action Wednesday, hosting Mount Saint Mary at Campbell Sports Center. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
