Em Hammett (Columbus, Ohio/The Wellington School).

Sarah Lawrence 3, Spalding 5
Sarah Lawrence got on the board in the opening frame, fueled by a RBI single from Mindish.
Spalding answered with two runs in the second inning with a pair of RBI singles, but the Gryphons countered with a run in the third inning, thanks to a sacrifice bunt from
Riley Vuyovich (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North). Sarah Lawrence regained the lead in the fourth inning, thanks to a run scored from Mindish.
The Golden Eagles, coming off a victory over Saint Joseph's earlier in the afternoon, pulled away with a three-run fifth inning to secure the victory.
Sarah Lawrence 1, Albertus Magnus 5
The Gryphons did a great job limiting the Falcons offense, not allowing a hit through the first 3.1 innings of action. Penna recorded the first hit of the afternoon in the fourth inning, stealing second before rounding the bases thanks to a perfectly placed bunt from Vuyovich.
Sarah Lawrence continued to play stout defense until the sixth inning, as Albertus Magnus, winners of 30 games in 2017, scored five runs in the frame to pick up the win.
