BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College softball team wrapped up its non-conference slate Friday with a doubleheader sweep of Baruch College at Mary Levine Field. The Gryphons, now winners of a program-record 15 wins this season, took game one, 8-0, in five innings, while winning the nightcap, 6-4.

TOP GRYPHON PERFORMANCES
Sarah Lawrence got great production from the top of its lineup, as Riley Vuyovich (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) (4-for-6), Skyler Vallarta (Brea, Calif./Sonora) (3-for-6) and Mackenzie Mindish (Northfield, N.J./Mainland Regional) (4-for-6) combined to go 11-for-18 with four home runs, seven RBIs and nine runs scored. Vuyovich and Mindish posted two home runs apiece, becoming the first duo in Sarah Lawrence history to post multi-home run performances in a single game.

Overall, the Gryphons hit .426 on the day with five home runs, as Kamaron McNair (Lawrence Township, N.J./The Hun School) and Alexa Zartman-Ball (Washington, D.C./The Madeira School) contributed three hits each, while Tess Carrier (Palos Verdes Estates, Calif./Palos Verdes) and Baylie Petit (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore) posted two apiece.

Sarah Lawrence picks up its fifth doubleheader sweep of the season and improve to 6-0 against teams from the CUNY Athletic Conference.

Game 1: Sarah Lawrence 8, Baruch 0
Sarah Lawrence plated three runs in the opening frame, thanks to a pair of homers. Vuyovich led off the inning with her second home run of the year, smashing the ball over the left field fence. Later in the frame, Mindish hit a two-run bomb to left, her first home run of the season and second of her career.

Vuyovich and Mindish homered again in the fourth inning, as the Gryphons scored three more runs to take a commanding 6-0 lead. It's the third time in Sarah Lawrence history that a player has hit at least two home runs in a contest.

Sarah Lawrence added two more runs in the fifth inning, fueled by RBIs from Zartman-Ball and Kelsey Copley (West Jefferson, Ohio/West Jefferson).

Mikayla Cunningham (Mayville, Mich./Millington), the Skyline Softball Pitcher of the Week, earned her third consecutive win in the circle. The junior tossed 4.0 scoreless innings, yielding four hits while striking out four.

Game 2: Sarah Lawrence 6, Baruch 4
Reminiscent of the first game, the Gryphons scored three runs in the opening inning, featuring RBIs from Mindish and McNair. Sarah Lawrence added to its lead in the third with a pair of runs, thanks to a sacrifice fly from McNair and a two-out single from Zartman-Ball.

Baruch, who entered the day with double-digit wins, scored two unearned runs in the fifth inning to shrink its deficit. Sarah Lawrence extended its margin in the sixth with a solo homer from McNair, her first of the season.

Baruch kept it interesting in the final frame, scoring a pair of runs to get within two, but the squad's comeback was cut short, as the Gryphons got the three outs they needed to secure the win.

Delaney Parker (Milford, N.H./Milford) improved to 6-1 on the mound this season, pitching 6.0 innings while striking out a pair.
