NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The Sarah Lawrence College men's tennis team picked up an 8-1 non-conference victory at Albertus Magnus Sunday at Celentano Courts.

In just the second meeting all-time between the two programs, Sarah Lawrence swept its three doubles contests. In No. 1 doubles, Divij Kapoor (Ludhiana, India/The Doon School) and Garrett Hsuan (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bard H.S. Early College) cruised to an 8-2 win, while Andre Garibaldi (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) and Francesco Lagioia (Rome, Italy/Lincoln American School of Buenos Aires) won their doubles match, 8-1. In the final doubles contest, a duo of Ben Dougherty (Brooklyn, N.Y./The Beacon School) and William Kellogg (San Diego, Calif./High Tech International) were victorious with an 8-3 decision.
The Gryphons won five of the six singles matchups, as Lagioia (10-8), Hsuan (10-8), Kapoor (10-0), Garibaldi (10-0) and Dougherty (10-0) all won their singles contest.
