BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Sarah Lawrence College senior Riley Vuyovich capped off a terrific season and collegiate career with Skyline All-Conference First Team honors, announced by the league office on Monday. Vuyovich becomes the second Gryphon in program history to earn all-conference recognition.

Vuyovich was fantastic in her final season in a Gryphons uniform. The infielder started every game, pacing the team in nearly every offensive category, including hits (36), runs (26), RBIs (20), doubles (8), home runs (4) and total bases (56). Vuyovich also proved to be reliable with her leather, posting a .981 fielding percentage.

Vuyovich notched nine multi-hit performances and five multi-RBI outings in 2018, while recording a 12-game hitting streak from March 15 to April 13. Most importantly, the senior led Sarah Lawrence to a school-record 16 wins, including a team-record four doubleheader sweeps.

A three-year starter, Vuyovich graduates a career .408-hitter, second-best in program history, and is one of three Gryphon in the NCAA-era to reach 100 collegiate hits. The senior leaves Sarah Lawrence as the school leader in slugging percentage (.675), doubles (31), total bases (179) and home runs (10).

Vuyovich is the third Gryphon in the 2017-18 athletic year to earn Skyline All-Conference First Team accolades, joining first-year Camary Jonas of men's soccer and sophomore Naima Mackrel of women's swimming.
