BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball team opened up the 2018 season on Friday with a 3-0 loss to the Pratt Institute at Campbell Sports Center.

Melanie Coleman, the 2017 Skyline Rookie of the Year, finished with a team-high seven kills, while
Lauren Kilroy added four kills, one assist and three digs.
In her collegiate debut,
Isabel Pecora paced the Gryphons with 15 assists and finished with team-highs in digs (7) and aces (2).
Pratt Institute won the first set convincingly, 25-12, but found themselves trailing 10-4 in the second set. The Cannoneers rallied back with seven straight points to take the lead and scored the final three points of the game to take a 2-0 series lead. Pratt scored the first eight points of the final set, but Sarah Lawrence continued to battle to knot the contest at 21. The Cannoneers finished the match with four unanswered points to secure the season-opening win.
