YONKERS, N.Y. – Colin Berg scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough as the University of Saint Joseph defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 2-1, in a non-conference men's soccer contest at Fleming Field.

Berg, a 2017 Skyline All-Conference selection, found the back of the net in the fifth minute.
Carlos Rivadeneyra played a ball into the box to the feet of Berg, who sent a shot between the pipes for the Gryphons first score of 2018.
The Blue Jays, coming off a 1-0 win over MCLA, knotted the game in the 17th minute, capitalizing on a miscue from the Gryphons back line.
Saint Joseph took the lead for good in the 38th minute, when Daniel Castro scored following a scramble in the box.
The Bluejays outshot Sarah Lawrence 20-10 in the contest, including a 7-5 advantage in attempts on frame.
Matteo Romano recorded five saves in the loss.
