NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 verdict on Saturday to the College of New Rochelle at Flowers Park.

Tristan Moehs gave the Gryphons a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute, as a ball was deflected off the keeper and shot into the near post for his first career score.
The Blue Angels tied the match in the 41st minute, when Roger McFadden scored off of a corner kick from Juan Arboleda.
New Rochelle tacked on two more goals in the second half. Nicholas Bryan made it a 2-1 contest in the 62nd minute after gathering a loose ball, while Xavier Cruzata scored in the 78th minute on a breakaway.
The Blue Angels outshot the Gryphons 19-10, including a 14-4 advantage in shots on frame.
Aaron Ashery made his first collegiate start in goal, making 11 saves.
