BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – For the second straight week, Sarah Lawrence sophomore Enike Anyia has earned recognition from both the Skyline Conference and the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association. On Tuesday, Anyia was named to the Skyline Weekly Honor Roll, while earning MBWA Men's Division II-III Honorable Mention accolades.

Anyia, who earned Player of the Week honors from both organizations, led Sarah Lawrence to a 2-1 week, averaging 16.3 points and 12.7 rebounds.

The forward led the Gryphons to a season sweep of St. Joseph's Brooklyn, posting his seventh double-double of the year with 19 points and a career-high 20 rebounds. It's the third 20-rebound performance by a Gryphon in school history, joining Rich Hempel (21 - 2008) and Stevan Radosavljevic (20 - 2014). The sophomore also contributed three assists.

Anyia followed up his performance with another solid outing in the squad's victory over Maritime, recording 17 points and nine rebounds. The sophomore scored 13 of his 17 in the second half, guiding the Gryphons back from a 16-point second half deficit.

Anyia has been the driving force for the success of the program this season. He has started every game, and leads the team in several categories, including points per game (17.1), rebounds per game (6.9), field goal percentage (.601) and minutes played (532). His .601 field goal percentage is the top mark in the Skyline.
