PURCHASE, N.Y. – Sarah Lawrence College used a late second half surge to defeat Purchase College, 3-1, in a Skyline women's soccer contest Saturday at PC's Turf Soccer Field. With the win, the Gryphons improve to 9-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

It didn't take long for Sarah Lawrence to get on the scoreboard, finding the back of the net 4:16 into the match.
Niki Dalrymple, the Skyline Rookie of the Week for a third time this season, scored her 15th goal of the year, ripping a shot from the top of the box to the far left post.
Purchase, who entered the match following wins over St. Joseph's Brooklyn and CCNY, equalized the match in the 30th minute, when Ashley Blom scored off a feed from Rebecca Colgan, the Skyline Co-Player of the Week.
Sarah Lawrence came out aggressive in the second half, peppering the Panthers with shot attempts, but were unable to convert any into goals. Shot No. 22 of the frame proved to be golden, as
Haley Willibey broke the stalemate with her seventh goal of the year in the 87th minute. The Gryphons added insurance 1:31 later with a goal from
Tiffany McBrayer, her seventh of the season.
Emily Cornejo made the start in goal, making eight saves in the win.
It was victory No. 9 and road win No. 4 for Sarah Lawrence, tying the single season record in each category. The Gryphons have now won back-to-back meetings with Purchase after a 0-4 start all-time to the Panthers.
