PURCHASE, N.Y. – Purchase College scored a goal in the 84th minute to defeat Sarah Lawrence College in a Skyline men's soccer contest Tuesday at Purchase Turf Soccer Field.

The two teams battled in the opening half but neither squad was able to find the back of the net.
George Scott had a dangerous look inside the box in the final minute, but the goalkeeper was there in time to make the stop.
Purchase took 10 shots in the frame, but just three were on target.
Aaron Ashery stopped all three attempts, highlighted by a terrific diving save in the 32nd minute to preserve the scoreless half.
The Panthers continued to hit the Gryphons with shots in the second half, but the Sarah Lawrence back line did everything it could to keep the match scoreless.
The game's lone goal came at the 83:21 mark, when Avery Stevenson knocked in a header off a corner kick from Juan Arboleda.
Sinjin Mendenall, a two-time Skyline Rookie of the Week recipient, put the Gryphons' lone shot attempts on target in the second half, but was unable to convert.
Despite conceding a goal, Ashery had a strong outing. The Skyline Defensive Player of the Week honoree finished with five saves, making another critical stop in the 76th minute.
