BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Pratt Institute used a late run in the final quarter to defeat Sarah Lawrence College, 62-59, in a non-conference women's basketball contest at Campbell Sports Center.

Camryn Davis posted a double-double in her season debut, finishing with 29 points and 11 rebounds. The sophomore also recorded two assists and three steals.
Melanie Coleman finished with eight points, 14 rebounds, three steals and one block, while
Alexa Zartman-Ball grabbed eight rebounds and
Katherine Chittenden chipped in with four points and three rebounds in her Sarah Lawrence debut.
It was the collegiate debut for first-years
Ana Srdanovic,
Demitra Loukopoulos and
Jordyn Medina. Srdanovic finished with seven points, six rebounds and one steal, while Loukopoulos added six points and a team-high five assists. Medina contributed five points and eight rebounds.

Sarah Lawrence had a solid first half, outscoring the Cannoneers in each of the first two quarters for a 33-29 lead at intermission.
Pratt outscored the Gryphons, 17-13, in the third quarter, as the two squads went into the final period tied, 46-46.
The Cannoneers scored the first five points of the fourth quarter, opening up its largest lead (51-46) with 7:42 left to play. Sarah Lawrence chipped away, tying the game, 57-57, with 2:05 remaining on the clock.
Pratt regained the lead with five straight points for a 62-57 score with 1:07 remaining. Loukopoulos knocked down a 3-pointer with 27 seconds left to make it a one possession game. Sarah Lawrence had one final possession in the final moments, but the shot did not fall, as Pratt held on for the victory.
