KINGS POINT, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's basketball team suffered a 58-41 loss Saturday to defending league champion Merchant Marine at Liebertz Gymnasium.

Camryn Davis reached double-figures for a fourth time this season, scoring a game-high 18 points. The sophomore also recorded four rebounds and four steals.
Ana Srdanovic knocked down a trio of 3-pointers for nine points, while
Jordyn Medina dropped in six along with a season-high 11 rebounds.
Melanie Coleman and
Demitra Loukopoulos chipped in four points apiece in the loss.

The preseason favorite Mariners got off to a strong start, holding a 37-15 lead after two quarters of play.
Sarah Lawrence got it going offensively in the second half, outscoring Merchant Marine 26-21. The Gryphons got within 13 on several occasions in the final quarter, but were unable to get any closer, as the Mariners went on to earn the league win.
