NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's crew team concluded its Fall campaign on Saturday, earning gold at the 2019 Fall Metropolitan Championships at Glen Island Park.

Competing against NCAA Division I and III programs, Sarah Lawrence was the first boat to cross the finish line in the Women's Novice 4+, completing the race in 8:07, finishing ahead of boats from Fairfield, Maritime and Manhattan.

It's the Gryphons second first-place finish of the Fall, as the squad took home gold at the Head of the Passaic.
