PISCATAWAY, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's swimming team broke three school records on Friday at the three-day Metropolitan Championships at Rutgers Aquatic Center.

LEE BREAKS OWN 50 FREE STANDARD
Anthony Lee broke his own school record in the 50-yard freestyle. After qualifying for the finals of the event, the senior posted a time of 21.66 in the race, surpassing his previous best of 21.85.

GRYPHON BREAK RELAY RECORDS
A team of Miles Washington, Chaz Stafford, Mani Roshandel and Lee qualified for the finals of the 200-yard freestyle relay, touching the wall in 1:30.10, breaking the previous school record of 1:32.21 set by Lee, Cameron Martinez, Dawa Lama and Jack Langland in 2016.

In the finals, the squad went on to reset the standard, touching the wall in 1:29.52 for an eighth-place finish. Lee anchored the relay, finishing with a split of 20.95, the first sub-21 split in team history.

In the 400-yard medley relay, the same group advanced to the finals with a mark of 3:44.34, surpassing the previous team record of 3:44.73. The quartet improved their time by nearly three seconds, finishing second in the 'B' final with a time of 3:41.43.
