BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's tennis team played its first home match Sunday, defeating St. Joseph's Brooklyn by an 8-1 margin. It is the Gryphons' first win of the season.

RECAP
Sarah Lawrence won five of six singles matches. In No. 1 singles, Matias Sanchez defeated Daniel Vaitzman by an 8-2 score.

In No. 2 singles, Francesco Lagioia won his matchup with a score of 6-0, 6-1, while Garrett Hsuan won his first singles match of the year with a 6-2, 6-2 score in No. 3 singles. Divij Kapoor was victorious in No. 4 singles, blanketing his opponent with decisions of 6-0 and 6-0. Alex Wah won his first singles match of the season with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Sean Devine Dunn.

The Gryphons won all three doubles contests on the day.

With the win, Sarah Lawrence has now won its last nine meetings with the Bears.
