BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer team wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a 3-2 victory over Brooklyn College Wednesday at Brooklyn College Field. It is the team's first-ever victory over the Bulldogs.

The win is victory No. 3 for the Gryphons, matching last season's win total. All three victories for Sarah Lawrence have come over a member of the CUNYAC, including Medgar Evers (2-1) and York (3-2).
The two teams went into intermission without a goal scored on either side, combining for 17 shots. That changed in the second half, as the programs combined for five goals on 27 shots.
Tristan Moehs scored the game's first goal in the 57th minute, blasting a shot just shy of the midfield line over the outstretched arms of the goalkeeper and into the net for his first goal of the year.
Brooklyn tied the game in the 63rd minute, and took the lead 3:11 later.

Owen Smith connected on the equalizer in the 78th minute, gathering a loose ball in the box and finding the back of the net for his first score of the season.
Two minutes and 14 seconds later,
Pacqui Pascual gave Sarah Lawrence the lead. The sophomore tapped in a shot off a cross from
Sinjin Mendenhall, the Skyline Rookie of the Week.
Aaron Ashery got the start in goal, keeping the sheet clean in the first half with save eight saves.
Matteo Romano played the second half in net, where he made three stops en route to being credited with the victory.

Sarah Lawrence resumes Skyline play on Saturday (Sept. 21) at Merchant Marine. The Gryphons defeated the Mariners by a 1-0 score a season ago, the program's first-ever win over the conference foe.
