BRONXVILLE, N.Y. –Enike Anyia posted a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Sarah Lawrence men's basketball team to a 63-61 win over Mount Saint Mary Thursday at Campbell Sports Center. The Gryphons have now won three in a row, improving to 7-7 overall and 3-2 in league play.

Anyia, coming off a 34-point effort in a win at Maritime, went 8-of-14 from the field while knocking down 10-of-14 attempts from the free throw line.
Omar Jamaleddine had a solid outing, finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
BJ Sanders contributed seven points, five boards and three helpers, while
Chris Torres led SLC in assists (6) and steals (4).

SLC did a good job defensively in the opening frame, holding the Knights to 32-percent shooting, highlighted by a stretch of 7:55 without allowing a field goal. The tandem of Anyia and Jamaleddine accounted for 26 of the Gryphons' 29 first-half points, as SLC held a 29-24 lead at halftime.
The Gryphons led by six in the opening minutes of the second half, but a 9-3 run from the Knights made it a 36-36 contest with 15:18 to play. SLC responded, using an 11-2 run to open up a 47-38 lead with 11:31 remaining.
SLC held Mount Saint Mary without a field goal for a stretch of 9:22, but the Knights managed to get to the free throw line to hang around in the game. Holding a 56-46 lead with 5:14 to play, the Knights rallied back with a 10-2 run over 3:39 to make it a one-possession game (58-56) with 1:35 to play.
The two teams exchanged free throws, with SLC holding a 62-58 edge with 28 seconds to play. Next possession down, the Knights knocked down a 3-pointer to make it a one-point contest (62-61) with 22 seconds remaining. Anyia hit a charity toss to make it a two-point game (63-61) with 14 seconds remaining. Mount Saint Mary had a look at the rim, but was unable to convert, as the Gryphons held on for their fourth home win of the season.
Sarah Lawrence shot 46-percent for the game, and took advantage of the size disparity, outscoring the Knights in the paint, 30-18, while outrebounding the league foe, 36-26.
