BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Enike Anyia posted a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, and
Liam Barry added 15 points and 4 assists off of the bench for the Gryphons in the loss to the Bears of St. Joseph's College at the Hill Center. The Gryphons are now 8-11 overall and 4-6 in league play.

Anyia went 6-of-9 from the field, completed all of his three free throws and grabbed 10 rebounds in total which included three offenive rebounds
Omar Jamaleddine led the SLC in rebounding (11) and contributed nine points. Barry came off the bench and shot well from the three point line making 2-of-3 shots from long range.
BJ Sanders contributed ten points, eight rebounds and three assists.
RECAP
The Knights took an early 5-0 lead to start the game until the Gryphons went on a 9-0 run capped by jumper in the paint by Barry at 14:43. The first half of the game was a full of scoring runs with each time battling back and forth to keep the game close with the Gryphons making 37.5% of their field goals to the Knights 24.32%.
Even with outscoring the Knights 38-22 in the paint, the Gryphons found themselves down by as much fifteen points twice in the second half as the Knights capitalized off of SLC turnovers.

Chris Torres ignited a SLC a late second half run and layup by
Enike Anyia at 3:12 in the game cut the lead to single digits (9). The Gryphons did a great job stopping the Knights on the following possession and
BJ Sanders knocked down two free throws after a shooting foul to cut the lead down to 7 points with 2:53 left in the game. The Knights were able to withstand the Gryphons final push until time in the game expired.
In the league play loss, Sarah Lawrence shot 43.5% from the field and outrebounded the Knights, 43-39.
